About Me

Monica Schwaller was incredibly fortunate to be raised in the Roaring Fork Valley and now resides in the Yampa Valley. As a youngster, she grew up and learned a tremendous amount about horse health and care as a member of the Roaring Fork Hounds Pony Club. After competing in hunter/jumpers, dressage and eventing she started working on ranches and had a summer job as a pool rider caring for, moving and doctoring cows in the high country on over 100,000 acres of public land. All of these experiences further engrained her respect and admiration for what all bodies are capable of and how important it is to take care of them.

Monica graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2010. Her technique is a unique combination of sports, deep tissue and Swedish massage to help increase over-all comfort, ease, and mobility as well as supporting the body when recovering from an injury. In 2018, Monica became a certified PEMF Practitioner. PEMF (electromagnetic field therapy) has been an incredible addition to Monica’s practice helping heal and support horses, humans, dogs and livestock in truly miraculous ways. Monica has continued to learn and play with different ways of combining massage and PEMF for each client, two and four legged, to produce the best results.
